Hilarius Moa Nurak

Hilarius Moa Nurak SVD (born February 21, 1943 in Waekabubak ; † April 29, 2016 ) was an Indonesian religious and Roman Catholic bishop of Pangkal-Pinang .

Life

Hilarius Moa Nurak joined the religious order of the Steyler Missionaries , made his profession on January 8, 1972 and was ordained a priest on August 2, 1972 .

Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Pangkal-Pinang on March 30, 1987 . The Bishop of Larantuka , Darius Nggawa SVD, donated him episcopal ordination on August 2nd of the same year ; Co- consecrators were Alfred Gonti Pius Datubara OFMCap , Archbishop of Medan , and Joseph Hubertus Soudant SCI , Bishop of Palembang .
