The Hispar River ( Urdu دریائے ہسپر) is fed from the meltwater of the Hispar glacier in the Karakoram Mountains in the autonomous region of Gilgit-Baltistan in Pakistan.

Both the river, which rises from the glacier mouth of the 49 km long Hispar glacier, and the glacier flow in a north-west direction. On its banks lie the villages of Hispar and Nagar , the first near the glacier tongue, the latter just before it flows into the Hunza River in the Hunza Valley.

The riverbed of the Hispar River is not fortified; In August 2006, a bridge below the village of Hispar was destroyed by the violence of the river and the place was no longer accessible by vehicles for months. Therefore a five-hour walk to Karimabad was necessary for the village population and trekking tourists. With vehicles, the route usually takes an hour.
