The Hispar Glacier is a 50 km long glacier in the Karakoram in the Pakistani autonomous region of Gilgit-Baltistan , the former northern regions.

The Hispar Glacier begins at the Hispar La, which is 5128  m high . Beyond the glaciated pass lies the 47 km long Biafogletscher . The two glaciers together with a length of almost 100 km form the longest contiguous glacier area outside the polar regions .

The Hispar Glacier connects the former kingdoms of Nagar in the south to Baltistan in the east. The glacier runs in a west-north-westerly direction without any noteworthy curves, is on average three kilometers wide and has a slight gradient. Its outflow is the Hispar , which flows into the Hunza River across from Karimabad . North of the Hispartal lies the Hispar Muztagh , part of the Karakoram main chain. In the south of the valley are the Rakaposhi Haramosh Mountains and the Spantik Sosbun Mountains , both of which are part of the so-called "Little Karakoram".

From the north of the Hispar Muztagh, large valley glaciers flow into the Hispar glacier, including the Khani Basa glacier , the Yutmaru glacier and the Kunyang glacier , which can also be clearly seen in the satellite image (see photo).
