The Hitra cesta H2 ( Slovenian for 'Schnellstraße H2') was a two- to four-lane Slovenian road that led from the A1 motorway near Pesnica north of Maribor ( Marburg ) through the urban area of Maribor before meeting the A1 again in the south .
The Maribor motorway bypass (A1) was completed in 2009. Since then, the H2 has been greatly relieved and travel and transit traffic bypasses the city.
On January 1, 2020, the entire length of the H2 was downgraded to Regionalstrasse 430.
