  • The Avtocesta A3 ( Slovenian for 'A3 motorway'), also called Sežanska avtocesta , is a motorway in Slovenia that runs from the A1 motorway at Gabrk near Divača to the Italian border at Sežana - Fernetiči . It connects Ljubljana ( Ljubljana ) and Trieste and is the shortest motorway in Slovenia with a length of 11.7 km. It was built in 1994–1997. The motorway is subject to a toll ( vignette ) and has four lanes throughout. It is operated by the Slovenian motorway company DARS. On the route there is a 274 m long tunnel that passes under Mount Tabor.

In Italy, the continuation takes place via the RA 14 , which leads over the RA 13 , towards Trieste and to Venice ( A4 ).
