Holger Scheidt
Holger Scheidt (* 1979 in Würzburg ) is a German jazz musician ( double bass , composition ).
Live and act
Scheidt, who grew up in southern Germany, first played rock music as a teenager and then went through basic jazz training at the New Jazz School in Munich . He continued his studies in Montpellier at the École Regional de Jazz and in Barcelona at the Aula de Musica Morderna y Jazz until 2003, before studying in the USA at the Berklee College of Music (Bachelor 2006) and at the City College of New York ( Master's degree). Since 2008, four albums with his work as a composer and band leader have been released. He also played with Benedikt Jahnel , Sebastian Merk , Ross Pederson, Kristjan Randalu , Nick Anderson , Florian Höfner , Guido May and Michael Vochezer.
