Honesto Ongtioco
Honesto Flores Ongtioco (born October 17, 1948 in San Fernando , Pampanga , Philippines ) is a bishop of Cubao .
Life
Honesto Ongtioco received the sacrament of ordination for the Archdiocese of San Fernando on December 8, 1972 through Bishop Emilio Cinense y Abera .
On April 8, 1998, Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Balanga . The Archbishop of Manila , Jaime Lachica Cardinal Sin , donated him episcopal ordination on June 18 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Archbishop of San Fernando, Paciano Basilio Aniceto , and the Bishop Emeritus of Balanga, Celso Guevarra .
On June 28, 2003, Pope John Paul II appointed him first bishop of the diocese of Cubao, which was established on the same date . The inauguration took place on August 28 of the same year.
From May 12, 2018 to August 21, 2019, he was also Apostolic Administrator of the Diocese of Malolos for the period of the Sedis vacancy .
