Horst-Herbert Krause

Horst-Herbert Krause (born May 24, 1950 in Andel on the Moselle ) is a German copywriter and music producer .

He was Herbert Grönemeyer's first producer as a solo artist and was featured as a copywriter on Grönemeyer's first three albums - Grönemeyer , Zwo and Total Egal . He was involved in Grönemeyer's first hit, Currywurst , written by Diether Krebs to the music of Jürgen Triebel. He has also written for Howard Carpendale , Andrea Berg , Marianne Rosenberg , Roland Kaiser , Jürgen Drews , Joy Flemming and Wolfgang Petry (Pete Wolf Band). From 1976 to 2002 he participated several times in the German preliminary round of the Grand Prix del la Chanson and the German Schlager Festival - including 2nd place in 1991 with the title "GEH" interpreted by Bernhard Brink. Overall, Krause was involved in more than 400 publications. For many years he worked with the producers and composers Joachim Heider and Jürgen Triebel as well as Eugen Römer.

Krause was a co-founder of the music publisher Roof-Music and the event center Zeche Bochum in which he was also the managing director for many years.
