Horst Ansorge

Horst Ansorge (* 1928 ) is a former German politician ( SED ) and screenwriter . From 1971 to 1981 he was mayor of Berlin-Pankow .

Life

After 1945 Ansorge first worked as a miner, then as an electric welder at VEB Waggonbau Görlitz . From 1949 to 1951 he attended the Workers and Farmers Faculty (ABF) Berlin. He completed a degree in German from 1951 to 1955 at the Humboldt University in Berlin with the state examination. Then he was secretary of the FDJ district leadership at Humboldt University. In January 1958 he became deputy chairman and soon after the death of Konrad Stumpf chairman of the pioneer organization Ernst Thälmann in East Berlin. On May 23, 1965, he and Siegfried Lorenz were adopted as an FDJ functionary at the FDJ district delegate conference in Berlin.

From 1958 to 1967 he was a member of the Berlin city council . From June 1960 he was a candidate and from June 1962 to June 1964 a member of the SED district leadership in Berlin. From 1965 to 1971 he was secretary of the SED district leadership in Berlin-Pankow. From January 14, 1971 to January 15, 1981, he served as district mayor of Berlin-Pankow. At the same time he was a member of the SED district leadership and city district councilor.

Ansorge, from 1971 Dr. paed., later appointed to the faculty, then worked as a lecturer in social sciences at the Berlin Institute for Teacher Education. He also worked as a writer for radio and television and wrote scripts, for example: B. 1987 the script for the police call film "The Dead Pays" .
