Horvátzsidány ( Croatian Hrvatski Židan , German Siegersdorf ) is a municipality in the district of Kőszeg in Vas County in western Hungary .
geography
Geographical location
The municipality is located about seven kilometers northeast of Kőszeg , a good 20 kilometers north of Szombathely and three kilometers south of the border with Austria .
history
The first written mention of the place under the name Terra Sydan comes from the year 1225.
