Hrvoje Spahija (born February 23, 1988 in Šibenik ) is a Croatian football player .
Career
Croatia
Spahija started club football in the youth of Beroe Stara Sagora and became a professional footballer here in 2007. A year later he switched to HNK Šibenik and I quickly gained a permanent place here. he became in the summer of 2003 when he moved to Međimurje Čakovec . Here he played four seasons and completed 58 league games for his club during this time. For the 2007/08 season he moved to Hajduk Split . In his first season at Hajduk Split, he could not get past goalkeeper Vladimir Balić . This ended his active career at the end of the season. Goalkeeper Danijel Subašić was brought in for the new season . This beat Tomić in the fight for the place of the goalkeeper, so that Tomić was only used in 10 games in his entire three seasons at Split.
Elazığspor
In the summer of 2012/13, the Süper Lig promoted Elazığspor was interested in the Croatian central defender Nikola Žižić . However, after he had already switched to Antalyaspor , the Croatian league continued to look for central defenders. In doing so, they became aware of Spahija and signed him up.
Return to Croatia
In February 2014 Spahija left Elazığspor again and joined his former club Šibenik.
In the summer of 2014 he moved to NK Olimpija Ljubljana and in the following years played in Romania for FC Voluntari and CS Universitatea Craiova . In the spring of 2018, Spahija moved to Ordabassy Shymkent in Kazakhstan .
