Hubert Burghardt

Hubert Burghardt (born October 1, 1958 in Lippstadt ) is a German cabaret artist .

Career

He studied social pedagogy in Mönchengladbach , Bielefeld and Münster and graduated with a diploma .

Since 1970 Burghardt played as a drummer in various rock and blues formations, in 1978 he switched to jazz . This was followed by tours and record releases with the groups Kunst-Dünger and the Curt-Beil Quartet . As a soloist, Burghardt initially practiced as a songwriter with settings of texts by Erich Kästner and his own songs. Burghardt was a prizewinner in the drums category in the state competition " Jugend jazzt ". In 1984 he was a founding member of the Münster political cabaret Die kleine Mäxe , where he was active until 1986. From 1986 to 1988 he was employed at the municipal children's and youth theater in Dortmund .

In 1987 Burghardt founded the duo "Burghardt & Husmann" together with Ralf Husmann . With over 500 guest appearances (including in the Mainz lower house , in the Leipziger Pfeffermühle , in the Munich Lach- und Schießgesellschaft and in the Passauer Scharfrichterhaus ) the duo was successful until 1997. At the same time, he was involved in several radio and television productions as a journalist , moderator and script editor (e.g. Schreinemakers Live, NoSports, SternTV , as well as on tm3 , RTL and WDR ).

In 1997, Burghardt was able to perform his first solo program, Alles Kinship !? imagine. The Silence of Men followed in the following years ! ( Premiere in summer 1999) and it's always the other's fault! (Premiere on March 26, 2004). At the end of 2007 he presented his fourth solo program Mannersache . Since January 2008 he has been a guest with his Weltverbesserer program . In his program he also appears as a fictional character “Motivation trainer Bulky Luggage” and “Caretaker Willi Matzekowski”. Burghardt was also able to develop successful individual programs for both characters.

Since April 2003, Burghardt became known to a larger audience through various television appearances. The highlights are his appearance in 2003 at the 24th Berlin Satire Festival, which was recorded by SFB television , his live appearance in the social evening of the Saarländischer Rundfunk in March 2005 and his guest appearances in the show Roglers Rasendes Kabarett (Südwestfernsehen SWR and on 3sat ). In June 2006 he was a guest at the WDR Cabaret Festival, which was recorded in Bonn's Pantheon . In March 2007 an appearance in Ottis Schlachthof ( Bavarian television ) followed. Burghardt has been one of the new in-house authors of the Berlin cabaret Die Distel since 2007 .
