Hugo Spitzer

Hugo Spitzer (born April 7, 1854 in Einöd , Styria , † December 30, 1936 in Graz ) was an Austrian philosopher and sociologist .

Life

On November 13, 1871, Spitzer became a member of the B! Arminia Graz.

Hugo Spitzer taught philosophy and sociology at the University of Graz . At his instigation, the seminar for philosophical sociology was established there. He was a supporter of Ernst Haeckel .
