Hugo Wilhelm August von Saldern-Ahlimb-Ringenwalde (born March 19, 1829 in Berlin ; † December 22, 1893 there ) was a Prussian colonel , owner of the majority and a member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Hugo von Saldern visited the Pädagogium in Halle (Saale) and studied at the universities of Bonn and Berlin law . In 1848 he became a member of the Corps Borussia Bonn . After attending the War Academy and serving in the Adjutantur and in the General Staff, he was commander of the Westphalian Hussar Regiment No. 11 from March 1875 to August 1876 and then retired from military service. He then devoted himself to the management and administration of the family property that had fallen to him on Ringenwalde in the Templin district. In the district administration he was active as a district deputy, district committee member, district council member, head of office and registrar.

From 1884 to 1893 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency of Potsdam 3 Ruppin , Templin and the German Conservative Party .

family

Hugo was a son of Hermann von Saldern (1801-1854) and his wife Luise, born von Ahlimb (1808-1876). On March 26, 1867, he married Marie von Bojanowski (1844–1900), widowed in Berlin in 1864, daughter of the Prussian Lieutenant General August von Oelrichs (1801–1868). The marriage remained childless.
