IEEE Morris N. Liebmann Memorial Award

The IEEE Morris N. Liebmann Memorial Award is a technology prize for new developments in recent years, which was first awarded in 1919 by the Institute of Radio Engineers (IRE) and later by the IEEE (merged with the IRE) . At first it was a radio engineering award. It is named after Colonel Morris N. Liebmann. It was awarded until 2000, after which it was replaced by the IEEE Daniel E. Noble Award .
