ISO 3166-2: AE
The list of ISO-3166-2 codes for the United Arab Emirates state contains the codes for the country's seven emirates (imāra).
The codes consist of two parts separated by a hyphen. The first part gives the country code according to ISO 3166-1 (for the United Arab Emirates
AE), the second the code for the emirate.
The current codes are available on the ISO website under #iso: code: 3166: AE .
In the case of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), these are two letters each.
