ISO 3166-2: UZ

The list of ISO-3166-2 codes for Uzbekistan contains the codes for the twelve provinces, the capital and the republic of Karakalpakistan.

The codes consist of two parts separated by a hyphen. The first part gives the country code according to ISO 3166-1 (for Uzbekistan UZ), the second the code for the province (Viloyati).

The current country code was last updated in the fourth newsletter of December 10, 2002 ( PDF ).
