Ian Andrew Healy (nickname: "Heals" ) (born April 30, 1964 in Brisbane ) is a former Australian cricketer and one of the most successful wicket keepers of all time.

Ian Healy played 119 test matches during his career . He played his first test against Pakistan in 1988 . His nomination as wicket keeper came as a big surprise at the time, as Healy was considered a relatively inexperienced player. Healy's last test was in October 1999 against Zimbabwe , in Harare . By the time Healy finished his career in 1999, he had 395 dismissals , a world record at the time that was broken by Mark Boucher in 2007 . Ian Healy also played a total of 168 One-Day International Cricket Matches (ODI) for Australia . With the Australian team he took part in the Cricket World Championships in 1992 and 1996 .
