Ibrahim Sangaré (born December 2, 1997 ) is an Ivorian football player who has been under contract with the French first division club FC Toulouse since July 2016 . The midfielder is an Ivorian national player .

Career

Sangaré began playing football at Tout Puissant Koumassi before joining AS Denguélé in 2012 . In July 2016 he moved from his home country to France , where he signed a contract with the first division club FC Toulouse . In the South of France, he initially played in the reserve team and was slowly introduced to the professional team. He made his league debut on October 22, 2016 in a 0-0 draw against SCO Angers , where he came on for Óscar Trejo in the closing stages of the game . After he only played sporadically, he made it into the starting line-up in the second half of the 2017/18 season . His first league goal was on February 24, 2018 in a 3-3 draw against AS Monaco . During this season he played 28 league games, in which he scored one goal and two assists. In the following 2019/20 season he only made 25 league appearances due to the shortened league championship and had to accept relegation to Ligue 2 with the club .

National team

Sangaré took the Ivorian U-20 national team at the Tournament of Toulon in 2015 in part and represented the U23 in the same year in two international matches.

As early as November 30, 2014, he was on the pitch for the first time in a game of the senior national team when he was substituted on in the second half in the 2-0 defeat in the friendly against South Africa .
