Ibrahim Teteh Bangura (born December 27, 1989 in Freetown ) is a Sierra Leonean football player . The striker has made his professional career so far in his home country, the United States, Sweden and Turkey.

Career

Bangura began his adult career in 2006 with Kallon FC in his hometown. There he developed into a dangerous striker, so that on the one hand he received his first appointments to the Sierra Leonean national team and aroused interest abroad as the top scorer in the Premier League . In 2009 he and his compatriot Warren Kanu moved to the Cleveland City Stars in the second highest division in the United States, the USL First Division . A short time later, the club awarded him to Cascade Surge in the USL Premier Development League . There he showed his talent as an effective striker, so that he soon returned to the City Stars. At the end of 2009, however, the franchise dissolved and his contract was no longer valid.

Following the stay abroad, Bangura first returned to his home country to his first play station. He played a half series for FC Kallon before joining the Swedish fourth division club Köping FF in Division 2 on loan in July . Shortly after his arrival, the first division AIK observed him , with whom his compatriot Mohamed Bangura was already under contract. In September he was finally signed by the Solna club , with whom he signed a three-year contract valid until the end of 2013. In the pre-season preparation for the 2011 season mostly supplementary player, he came on the first match day in the local derby against Djurgårdens IF as a substitute for Martin Kayongo-Mutumba to his debut in the Allsvenskan . His debut in the starting line-up alongside Viktor Lundberg , Daniel Tjernström , Nils-Eric Johansson and Daniel Gustavsson against Mjällby AIF on the following matchday was his first two competitive goals for the club. As a result, he was a dangerous goal and established himself in the top of the goalscorer list. On the 16th matchday he scored all four goals in a 4-0 home win against Halmstads BK .

Tied with Mathias Ranégie at the top of the Allsvenskan scorers list, Bangura had aroused the interest of various clubs internationally. In early August, AIK finally announced the striker's move to Turkey, where he joined Bursaspor . For the second half of the 2012/13 season he was loaned to the Turkish second division club Şanlıurfaspor .
