I can fly (spelling: I can fly ) is a German rock band from Hanover .
history
The group was founded in 2006 by Nikolas ( vocals , e-guitar ), Paul (e-guitar, vocals), Niklas ( bass ) and Bill ( drums ) in the Lower Saxon state capital Hanover and was under contract with Universal Music . The debut album, I Can Fly , reached number 59 in the German charts . For the album, I can only save love and adventure, two single releases. The current album Alles flimmert was made possible by a successful crowdfunding campaign .
On August 13, 2011 I can fly played as opening act for White Lies as part of the 30th Telekom Street Gigs at Gut Steinhof in Braunschweig . With Me Can Only Love Save , the group performed on September 28, 2012 for Lower Saxony at the Bundesvision Song Contest 2012 , where the group came third behind XAVAS ( Baden-Württemberg ) and Laing ( Saxony ). The text was written by Annette Humpe . The group also played with great German musicians such as Nena , Jennifer Rostock , Sportfreunde Stiller and Silbermond .

I can fly play a mixture of indie rock , alternative rock and German rock . Most of the group's texts are written in German . The group Jimmy Eat World is named as the main musical influence .
