Telekom Street Gigs

The Telekom Street Gigs (formerly T-Mobile Street Gigs ) are a series of events organized by Telekom Deutschland GmbH . As part of the concert series, well-known national and international artists have been performing in unusual places since 2007, for example in a corn maze, on a Lake Constance ferry, a car cemetery or in a quarry. The musical spectrum ranges from alternative rock to hip-hop , pop and jazz . Artists such as Placebo , Billy Talent , Clueso , Birdy , Mando Diao and Cro have already performed at the Telekom Street Gigs.

The concert tickets will not be sold, but will only be raffled on the Street Gigs website. The number of visitors varies depending on the location. At the Telekom Street Gig of Wir sind Helden 2010 in the Landgasthof in Würzburg 100 fans were present, at Linkin Park 2012 in the Admiralspalast in Berlin, however, almost 2000 people were present. In addition, the concerts will be broadcast live on the Internet. As part of the We Love in Concert series , highlights will be broadcast a few days later in ProSieben's night program .

Another partner of the Street Gigs series is the music streaming provider Spotify . There, users can listen to live recordings or playlists curated by the artists especially for the street gigs.

The Telekom Street Gigs first cooperated with the television series Gute Zeiten, Bad Zeiten in December 2013. Singer Birdy played a Telekom Street Gig integrated into the series in the scene club Mauerwerk.
