Igor Pawel Jakubowski (* 6. August 1992 in Zory ) is a Polish boxer in the heavyweight division . He is EU Champion 2014, Vice European Champion 2015 and Olympian 2016.

He was Polish cadet champion in 2008, Polish youth champion in 2009 and 2010, Polish middleweight champion in 2011 and Polish U23 light heavyweight champion in 2012. He is also Polish U23 heavyweight champion in 2013, 2014 and 2015, and Polish heavyweight champion in 2014 and 2015.

In August 2014 he won the EU championships in Bulgaria against József Darmos , Stefan Nikolić, Victor Ialimov and Levan Guledani. By the end of 2014 he had fought around 150 fights. At the European Championships in Bulgaria in 2015 he reached the final against Christian Demaj, Roman Fress and Nikolajs Grišuņins , where he had to get out without a fight due to an elbow injury and thus won the silver medal. His final opponent would have been Yevgeny Tishchenko . Together with the middleweight Tomasz Jabłoński , they won the first Polish European boxing medals since 2008.

He then started at the 2015 World Championships in Doha . There he beat Dschachan Kurbanow in the preliminary round , but was eliminated in the round of 16 against Heworh Manukjan . In June 2016, he surprisingly won the heavyweight division of the global Olympic qualification tournament in Baku . He beat the Croatian Josip Filipi (3: 0), Şeyda Keser from Turkey (3: 0), Abdeljalil Abouhamada from Morocco (2: 1) and Julio Castillo from Ecuador (3: 0).

At the 2016 Olympic Games , he was eliminated in the first fight against Briton Lawrence Okolie (0: 3). Also at the European Championships 2017 he was eliminated in the first fight against Ramasan Muslimow.
