Igor Lazić (born February 14, 1992 in Zagreb , Croatia ) is a Croatian ice hockey player who was under contract with the KHL Medveščak Zagreb until 2013 .

Career

Igor Lazić began his career as an ice hockey player in his hometown in the youth division of the KHL Medveščak Zagreb, for which he was active in the Croatian junior league from 2006 to 2009, before making his debut in the Slovenian ice hockey league for Medveščak's professional team in the 2008/09 season gave. After his team was accepted into the Austrian ice hockey league for the 2009/10 season , the attacker completed a total of 33 games in this, in which he remained unpunished. The rest of the season he spent with Medveščaks second team in the Slohokej League , in which he scored 14 points in 24 games, including six goals. In the 2010/11 season he played for the Zagreb team , the newly established cooperation project of the Zagreb top clubs in the Slohokej League and the Slovenian U20 junior division and only ran for Medveščak in the Croatian championship.

With the second team from Medveščak Zagreb he also took part in the national league from 2008 to 2013 and was Croatian champion with his team.

International

For Croatia , Lazić took part in the junior division of the U18 World Junior Championships in Division II in 2009 and 2010 and the U20 Junior B World Championships in 2010 , 2011 and 2012 . For the men's national team, he ran at the 2010 World Cup in Division I and in 2012 and 2013 , when the Croatians managed to return to Division I. He was also on the ice at the qualifying tournaments for the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi .
