Illumination Entertainment is a film production company founded by Chris Meledandri in 2007 . She is best known for the animated films Despicable Me (2010), Despicable Me (2012), Despicable Me 2 (2013) and Minions (2015).
history
Chris Meledandri, previously involved in the production of various animated films, founded Illumination Entertainment in 2007 with the support of Universal Pictures . Universal Pictures has financed all of the studio's projects since 2009 as part of an exclusive partnership.
In August 2011, Illumination Entertainment took over the French animation studio Mac Guff and its 300 employees.
