content

Frederike Countess von Bantz, the owner of the Immenhof estate , vouched for her nephew Peter. After the guarantee has become due, the Immenhof has to be auctioned. The property is finally bought by the industrialist Peter "PS" Stahl. He comes to terms with the Christiansen couple after Stefan Christiansen was fired from his publishing house as editor .

At first, Countess Bantz found it difficult to hand over control of the Immenhof. Problems arise between Hanna and Stefan Christiansen because he receives an attractive job offer from the publisher of his former newspaper.

Furthermore, the horses at the Immenhof are at the center of the series. Above all, Carthago should be mentioned here, on which the rider Kerstin in particular has high hopes.

Relation to the movies

The series is in no way related to the Immenhof films from the 1950s and 1970s, which are based on or based on the novel Dick and Dalli and the ponies by Ursula Bruns . The events of the film series are not mentioned and are even in contrast to the plot of the series. Here it is explained that Countess Bantz has lived on the Immenhof since her flight from East Prussia . In 2018 another Immenhof film was produced with Immenhof - The Adventure of a Summer .

Broadcasts

The series was initially broadcast by ZDF , later by Tv.nrw and ZDFkultur .
