Ferien auf Immenhof is a German color film from 1957 by Hermann Leitner . It is the third film in the Immenhof trilogy that was released in cinemas between 1955 and 1957. He was preceded by the stories about the girls from Immenhof (1955) and the wedding at Immenhof (1956). The main roles of the sisters Dick and Dalli are again cast by Angelika Meissner and Heidi Brühl . Margarete Haagen can be seen again in the role of grandma Jantzen and Paul Klinger as Jochen von Roth.

action

Some time after the Immenhof was again family-owned and converted into a holiday hotel, the “Pony-Hotel Immenhof” is due to open. Grandma Jantzen, her granddaughters Dick and Dalli as well as Jochen von Roth and his wife Margot have lovingly decorated the hotel. Hein Daddel wears the porter's uniform and the veterinarian and long-time friend of the house, Dr. Pudlich has agreed to take care of hotel guests if necessary. Cousin Ethelbert, now Dalli's friend, and his friend Ralf Schüller, who is a close friend of Dick, also get involved. Ralf, who is a graphic artist, has also designed an advertising brochure for the hotel. However, the first guest does not want to appear.

Jochen goes to Hamburg to get in touch with a large travel agency. During his absence, Dick, Dalli and their friends go on an advertising campaign with their ponies in Lübeck without informing Grandma Jantzen and Margot. They distribute Ralf's advertising brochures to the enthusiastic people there, which, however, have been pimped up by Dalli with the help of Ethelbert, and now contain promises such as swimming pool, modern comfort and the like that the Pony Hotel cannot fulfill at all. The well-intentioned attempt turns out to be a failure, however, as the few guests who arrive because of the brochure do not even stay because they do not find the promised comfort.

To make matters worse, Jochen also falls out with Ralf, whom he blames for the exaggerations without knowing the truth. Ralf then withdraws from the Immenhof, which in turn is difficult for Dick, who is afraid of losing his love.

The advertising campaign was only lucky for the orphan boy Fritzchen, as he, as the winner of the brochure campaign, got a 14-day free stay at the Immenhof. A deep relationship develops between the lovable, helpful boy and Grandma Jantzen right away and the rest of the family also takes Fritzchen into their hearts.

Little by little, however, the first guests arrive. First there is the elegant Gisela, who arrives in the sports car, then the fat Mr. Ottokar with his wife Käthe. Ottokar is led by Dr. Pudely admonished again and again because of his excessive appetite. Furthermore, the painter Ottilie Nadler, who wants to portray everyone who comes near her. But a very special guest is also arriving, Dr. Weskamp, the influential director of the Hamburg travel agency, to whom Jochen was present. However, he brings everyone to despair, since he is only interested in fishing and prevents any conversation that is not related to this topic.

Dick has to experience that Ralf is exceptionally often with the pretty Gisela, while Grandma Jantzen almost gets sick about the fact that there is no talking to Weskamp at all. That, in turn, calls Fritzchen into action, who wants to help Grandma Jantzen in his childlike way. When Henriette Jantzen's birthday was approaching, she received congratulations from all sides, but from Dr. Weskamp also has what she has longed for so much - a long-term contract. The surprise is written on the old lady's face because, like Jochen, she was of the opinion that Weskamp was not interested in the hotel business, as he was only busy fishing. However, he explained to those present that his secretary Gisela had looked around for him and that he was well informed. Now it is also clear that Ralf and Gisela put their heads together exclusively for professional reasons, namely that Ralf is supposed to take over the artistic direction of the travel agency's advertising department. Dr. When he received an invitation from Mr. Ottokar, asked for the address and received the answer: “Medical Councilor Prof. Dr. Heinzelmann, chief physician at the University Clinic in Heidelberg ”.

And Weskamp has not promised too much: from now on you can hardly save yourself from guests. If you want to spend your vacation at Immenhof , you have to register in good time, otherwise the rooms are already taken.

criticism

“The development of the stud after the opening of a pony hotel. Emphasizes harmless family entertainment. ”- Lexicon of international films

Continuation of the Immenhof films. Entertainment film without new ideas and therefore quite boring. Not recommendable. - Protestant film observer

For Kino.de the third film in the series was "as usual harmonious". It went on to say: “Even if the predictable story is only meandering, the pony film by director Hermann Leitner with its sympathetic actors, especially Angelika Meissner and Heidi Brühl, offers adult entertainment for the whole family, but remains behind his two Predecessors back.
