Ina-Lena Elwardt (born October 30, 1981 in Bordesholm ) is a former German handball player .

Career

Ina-Lena Elwardt began playing for the handball Bundesliga club Buxtehuder SV in 2000, parallel to her studies at the Hamburg University of Applied Sciences . There she was mainly used in the second team, with which she rose to the regional handball league. In the Bundesliga, the 1.78 meter tall backcourt player made 22 appearances for the BSV in five seasons, in which she scored five goals, two of which were seven meters . She also played for Buxtehude in the EHF Challenge Cup and the DHB Cup . In 2005 she moved to TSV Owschlag , with whom she also succeeded in advancing to the regional league, and for which she also ran in the third division, which was newly introduced in 2010 . From the 2012/13 season Elwardt played for SG Bordesholm / Bruges. In 2015 she ended her career.

Ina-Lena Elwardt is a civil engineer and works in an engineering office in Eckernförde . Her father Klaus Elwardt , a former national handball player , was managing director of the handball Bundesliga club THW Kiel until 2014 , where he played from 1974 to 1985.
