Ina Seeberg

Ina Seeberg (born April 25, 1941 in Stralsund ) is a German painter and author .

Live and act

After graduating from high school in 1960, she studied philosophy , education and art history in Bonn and Göttingen until 1963 . From 1963 to 1964 he studied painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Nuremberg under Hermann Wilhelm . From 1964 to 1976 she was a teacher in Essen.

In 1976 she began studying visual communication at the Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen with Günter Reker. In 1983 she graduated with honors.

Ina Seeberg was a lecturer at the International Summer Academy Salzburg (1984) and the European Academy of Fine Arts Trier (1988). In 1992 she taught as a visiting professor at Anadolu University in Eskişehir, Turkey . In 1995 she became a founding member of the IAM International Academy Marmaris in Turkey. Since 1997 she has been giving art workshops for soroptimists there . From 1983 she received invitations to readings in Germany and Turkey. In 2006, at the invitation of Mugla University in Bodrum, she held an illustration seminar at its “Faculty of Fine Arts”.

Seeberg is married and has two children. She lives and works in Essen .

Exhibitions

Various works by Seeberg have been shown in the Great Art Exhibition NRW Düsseldorf since 1983 . Other exhibition venues included the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam in 1986 (invitation from the Nederlandse Kring van Tekenaars), the Dortmund University Library in 1987, the Singer Museum in Laren in North Holland in 1988 and 1991 and the Museum Ostdeutsche Galerie in Regensburg in 1987, the Landesmuseum Volk und Wirtschaft Düsseldorf 1996, the Goethe-Institut in Brussels in 1990, the Miniprint International Cadaqués in Spain from 1996 to 2020, and the artists' association Malkasten Düsseldorf.
