Incognegro is the debut album by US rapper Ludacris . It was released on May 16, 2000 on the independent label Disturbing tha Peace .
production
Ludacris, who himself produced six songs, the intro and two skits, acted as executive producer on the album . Four songs on the album were produced by the music producer Bangladesh, while Jermaine Dupri and Organized Noize each contributed an instrumental. Fate Wilson, I-20 and Mike Johnson were also involved in individual titles.
Cover design
The album cover features a painted picture of Ludacris' face. He wears sunglasses. At the top of the picture is the black lettering Ludacris Presents , while the title Incognegro is written in black on the left edge of the picture from bottom to top. The cover also refers to the guest contributions and the songs What's Your Fantasy , Game Got Switched and Get Off Me .

In addition to Ludacris, other artists are represented on six songs on the album. The rapper Shawnna is involved in the song What's Your Fantasy . Tracks 1st & 10 and Catch Up are collaborations with rappers I-20 and Fate Wilson, and singer Chimere has a guest appearance on Midnight Train . Ludacris is also supported by the rapper Pastor Troy on Get Off Me , while the rapper 4-Ize can be heard on the song Mouthing Off .

Incognegro entered the US album charts at number 179 on October 14, 2000, shortly before the release of Ludacris' major debut Back for the First Time , and ranked 195 the following week before dropping out of the top 200.
The song Ho was released as the first single in 1998 . In September 2000, the second release, What's Your Fantasy , followed, which reached number 21 in the US charts and stayed in the top 100 for 22 weeks.
