Indoramin is an α 1 receptor blockers ( alpha blockers ), which as a drug for the treatment of high blood pressure is used ( antihypertensive ).

The effect of indoramine is based on the expansion of the blood vessels .

Side effects

Among other things, there may be a sharp drop in blood pressure with dizziness and headaches at the beginning of treatment with indoramine. The orthostatic hypotension is characteristic of alpha blockers.

Trade names

Indoramine is available in Germany under the trade name Wydora ® .
