Forcola di Mont Rest (also called Passo Rest ) is a 1052 m high road pass in northern Italy.
Location and course
It is located in the Carnic Pre-Alps in the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region in northeast Italy . The pass connects the Tagliamento Valley of Ampezzo with the Venetian Plain in the south. The only places along the route are Tramonti di Sopra and Tramonti di Sotto . The first place south of the pass is Meduno . The road then continues to Spilimbergo . The SR 552 leads over the pass.

The route leads through relatively untouched nature with extensive forests and rare animals.
The vegetation is typical for this altitude, a low mountain range with some deciduous forests and a few coniferous forests.
Importance and use
The pass is of relatively little economic importance, but provides an important link for tourism and forestry.
