The Reiterjoch , in Italian Passo di Pampeago or Passo delle Pale, is a 1990  m slm , high mountain pass between the Dolomites and the Fiemme Valley Alps in the municipality of Deutschnofen in South Tyrol .

The Reiterjoch is between Obereggen in South Tyrol and Stava near Tesero in Trentino . The pass connects the Fleimstal with the Eggental . In the east of Reiterjochs is belonging to the Dolomites Latemar , west of the 2,492  m high, located in the Fiemme Mountains Zanggen ( Pala di Santa ).

The road over the pass, which has been paved since 2012, is closed to motorized traffic. The Passo di Lavazè ( 1808  m slm ), which is open to car traffic, runs parallel to the Reiterjoch just a few kilometers west .

The area around the Reiterjoch, which was originally used for alpine farming , has now been opened up to the Ski Center Latemar winter sports area . A stage of the Giro d'Italia cycle race , which also runs through Tesero , led over the Reiterjoch.
