Ingo Seibert
Ingo Seibert (born August 9, 1972 in Munich ) is a former German American football player, bobsleigh athlete and track and field athlete .
career
athletics
Seibert, son of sports scientist Wolfgang Seibert , was a athlete and won the DLV Cup junior competition in the pole vault discipline in 1987 and 1988 . At the age of 15, he jumped 4.60 meters. He also operated the decathlon . In June 2003 the athlete, who started for the LG Munich, set a personal best in the triple jump with 14.75 meters, which was only two centimeters below the Bavarian national record. In 2004 he switched to LG Domspitzmilch.
American football
Seibert, who was used as running back , became German champions in 1993 with the Munich Cowboys . From 1995 he was part of the Frankfurt Galaxy squad in the World League of American Football and played for the Hessians until the end of the 1998 season (most recently in the NFL Europe ). In 1995 he won the World Bowl with Frankfurt , in 1996 Seibert was named the best local player in the World League.
Seibert was also a member of the German national football team and won third place at the European Championship with the selection in 1993.
Bobsleigh
As a pusher in bobsleigh, Seibert, who studied sports science , became junior world champion in 1996, won the European Cup and achieved third place in the World Cup in 1994.
Fitness trainer
In November 2012 he took up the post of fitness trainer for the football professionals of TSV München 1860 . As a fitness and conditioning trainer, he also looked after athletes such as Maria Höfl-Riesch , Viktoria Rebensburg , Christian Blum and Susi Erdmann . From 2001 to 2006 he worked as a lecturer in athletics at the Technical University of Munich .
