Ingo Senst

Ingo Senst (* 26. December 1964 in Braunschweig ) is a German double bass player of the modern jazz .

Senst studied from 1987 to 1992 in the Netherlands at the Hilversum Conservatorium . Since 1995 he has lived in Dortmund as a freelance musician. He was a member of Wil Saldens Glenn Miller Orchestra and also worked with Sasha , for example on his hit single "Lucky Day". Senst also belonged to the Groenewald Newnet around Marko Lackner and Primus Sitter , the quintet of Ariane Jacobi and the International Škoda All Star Band . Between 2007 and 2016 he was Matthias Akeo Nowak's successor at Triosence and on their albums Where Time Stands Still, Turning Points and One Summer Night (Live) . Since 2016 he has been the bassist of the Götz Alsmann Band. He also played with Tom Gäbel , Dusko Goykovich , Stefan Bauer , Philip Catherine , Thomas Alkier , Ramesh Shotham , Andy Haderer , Silvia Droste , Thomas Hufschmidt ( Cape Impressions ) and the Modern String Quartet . He has recorded various recordings and radio productions, for example with Raise the Roof , and toured numerous countries in the course of his career.
