Innosense was an American girl group . With Wherever You Are , the quintet reached number 99 in the German single charts in 1998 .

Career

The pop - and dance - band Innosense, another project of Backstreet Boys- and * NSYNC -Entdecker Lou Pearlman , 1997 in Orlando , Florida , at a casting together. The first members included Nikki DeLoach and Britney Spears , who had already become famous as presenters of Disney's Mickey Mouse Club . Spears decided that same year for a solo career and was replaced by Veronica Finn. Other members were Danay Ferrer, Mandy Ashford and Amanda Latona. The manager was Lynn Harless, the mother of Justin Timberlake .

For the five girls, Innosense was not the first contact with show business . DeLoach had already worked in various TV productions and played in the movie Traveler , Finn completed a dance and singing training, Ferrer was a singer in a rock band, Ashford played various musical roles in her hometown of Clinton, Latona had acting experience and belonged to the a cappella group Hollywood Hi-tones.

Vassal Benford, who already worked for Jade and Toni Braxton , produced the debut single Wherever You Are in 1998 , which was only successful in Germany . After Amanda Latona left the band in 1999, Jenny Morris joined the band. The debut album So Together and the single Say No More hit stores in 2000 but received little attention. In 2003 the musicians went their separate ways.
