The 24th International Women's Tour of Thuringia took place from July 18 to 24, 2011 in eastern Thuringia . Six stages led in circular courses around the cities of Altenburg , Gera , Greiz , Schleiz , Schmölln and Zeulenroda-Triebes , and a prologue was held in the city center of Jena .
The winner of the stage race was the Swede Emma Johansson with just six seconds ahead of the American Amber Neben .

In the Thuringia Tour 2011, 93 female riders took part in 16 cycling teams - including eleven UCI women's teams and three national teams .
