Irene von Fladung
Irene von Fladung (born October 12, 1879 in Teharje ; † June 15, 1965 in Munich ) was an Austrian opera singer ( soprano ).
Life
Fladung studied singing in Graz before making her operatic debut at the Vienna State Opera in 1906 . In 1907 she had her first appearance at the Bavarian State Opera and at the Bayreuth Festival . Until 1925 she not only sang at the Bavarian State Opera, but also worked as a guest artist at the Frankfurt Opera and Theater , the Semperoper and the Stuttgart State Opera .
On March 28, 1916, she sang the role of Bice in the world premiere of Erich Wolfgang Korngold's Violanta at the Munich Court Theater .
Fladung was married to the actor Georg Henrich, who also worked in Munich .
