The Einöde Irtenberg is a district of the municipality Kist in the Lower Franconian district of Würzburg .

It is located three and a half kilometers southwest of the center of Kist, on both sides of State Road 578 in the Irtenberger Wald district . The district of Kist, which covers less than seven hectares, is surrounded by a community-free area.

Due to its location on the historical connection between Baden and Bavaria, there was a customs office in Irtenberg until 1836.

Architectural monuments

The former forester's house in Irtenberg dates from the first half of the 18th century. It is a two-story, plastered hipped roof building with drilled window frames.
