Irving G. Thalberg Memorial Award

The Irving G. Thalberg Memorial Award has been given since 1938 to particularly creative film producers who have distinguished themselves through many years of consistent efforts to ensure high artistic quality in the production of films. The price is a replica of the head of Irving Thalberg of bronze and is at the Academy Awards presented to the winners. Kathleen Kennedy (2018) was the first woman to receive the award.
