Isa Jank
Isa Jank (* 16th August 1952 as Isolde Jank in Straupitz ) is a German actress and a former international model . Her acting career began in Hollywood and continued in Germany in 1993.
Life
After Jank worked as a model in the 1970s and early 1980s, she moved to the United States in 1983. After an acting school in New York and Los Angeles , she was in the US film and television productions such as Cheers , Airwolf and Real Men (Real Men) alongside James Belushi to see. For several years she worked in the USA under the stage name Isa Andersen. The spelling Isa Anderson, which appears in some archives, is based on data from the Screen Actors Guild (SAG), which had taken the name into its database with a typo.
Jank returned to Germany in 1992 and shot with Klaus Löwitsch in Peter Strohm and with Manfred Krug in Liebling Kreuzberg . From 1994 she played the role of Dr. Nadja Bredow in the ARD series Praxis Bülowbogen .
She became known for the role of Clarissa Countess von Anstetten in Forbidden Love, which she played from 1995 to 2001 . After seven years of soap opera, she said goodbye to Verbotene Liebe ; her serial character has been lost since a mysterious plane crash.
From October 2005 to November 2008 Jank was in the ZDF - Telenovela Path to Happiness in the role of Anna Bellegrave Berg / van Weyden to see. With episode 732, which was broadcast on November 28th, this character also went down in the history of the German telenovela as the “ icon of intrigue ”, this time with a fall from the bridge to death. In episode 734 she had a guest appearance.
Since June 2011 Isa Jank appeared again in her role as Clarissa von Anstetten on Verbotene Liebe ; After a plane crash in 2001, she is said to have been stuck in a South American prison for ten years. In March 2013 she made her last appearance on the series.
In September 2016, the actress was a candidate in the Sat.1 reality show Promi Big Brother , where she finished eighth out of twelve participants .
