Isabel Meier (* 1966 in Zurich ) is a Swiss film editor .

Life

Isabel Meier was responsible for editing the documentaries Blue End (2000, directed by Kaspar Kasics ), Balkan Melodie (2012, directed by Stefan Schwietert ) and Parcours d'Amour (2014, directed by Bettina Blümner ). She was also hired for series and feature films, e.g. B. for the television series Tatort , for German productions such. B. Stiller Sommer (2013) by Nana Neul or Lara (2019) by Jan-Ole Gerster as well as for international productions such as Tulpan (2008) by Sergei Dworzewoi and Love Island (2014) by Jasmila Žbanić .

She was nominated for the Swiss Film Award in 2019 for editing the film Female Pleasure .

Meier is a member of the Swiss and the German Film Academy .
