Isawa ( Japanese 石 和 町 , -chō , German stone harmony ) was a Japanese community west of Tokyo in the district of Higashiyatsushiro in Yamanashi prefecture .

Isawa is at an altitude of 267 meters. Mount Fuji is nearby .
history
Since October 12, 2004 , Isawa has formed the city of Fuefuki together with 5 other localities .
Attractions
Isawa is well known for its hot springs , which are used for spa treatments, and for the historical games (depicting a battle from the 16th century) that take place annually on the occasion of the early summer festival.

Since May 26, 1991 there was a friendship with Bad Mergentheim in Germany.
