Ismail Boulaghmal

Ismail Boulaghmal (born October 15, 1976 in Casablanca , Morocco ) also known as Isy B. is a German producer , keyboard player, DJ , artist and consultant .

Career

Ismail Boulaghmal started his career as a music producer in the early 1990s. As with many hip-hop musicians of his generation, his interest in hip-hop culture began with the breakdance film Breakin ' (1984) and with the hip-hop groups Public Enemy and Run DMC. At the age of 14, he tinkered with his first Beats and played in the hip-hop band Zu3st. Together with DJ Krazee G and DJ Lil Tommy he founded the R&B label 2Jiggy Records . At the same time he put on records in black music clubs as DJ Isy B. Later he worked mainly with the label ZYX Music .

After a phase in which his own music was not well received, he began to organize release parties with his agency Clubkind and began as a fashion designer for the company Snipes , where he worked his way up from a small contractor to a marketing director.

Musically, he mainly produces for Eko Fresh and was also responsible for the soundtrack for the Blockbustaz series.
