Cover design
The album cover is based on the cover of the sound carrier Dangerous by Michael Jackson . It is a painted picture of Eko Fresh's face surrounded by many different people and things related to Eko Fresh's career. Among them is the Turkish crescent , the coat of arms of his native Cologne, a green Opel Commodore , with which the artist's grandfather is said to have driven from Turkey to Germany. In addition, a boombox , cassettes by the US rap groups NWA and Diggin 'in the Crates as well as the rappers Big Pun and Canibus and the German rap online format Shut up . In addition to the late hip-hop greats Tupac Shakur and The Notorious BIG , Eko's own headphone collection Eko Beats and his former tour sponsor, the fashion company Eckō Unlimited, are featured on the cover. The same goes for wrestlers Hulk Hogan and Doink . Eko Fresh is an avowed wrestling fan and appeared temporarily for the German promotion German Stampede Wrestling . The cover also contains allusions to the TV formats The Perfect Celebrity Dinner , The VIP Dog Professional and the TV total Autoball World Cup and Wok World Cup , in which Eko took part, as well as his previous publications Now we come to the things , pressure on Play , King of Germany , LOVE and now we get back to things . The same applies to the singer Nino de Angelo , with whom Eko released a new edition of his single Jenseits von Eden in 2011 . Other musical companions shown are Eko's singer Valezka , who has since been in a relationship with Eko, rappers Kool Savas , Bushido and Azad , former BMG boss Thomas M. Stein and singer Yvonne Catterfeld , for whom Eko Fresh and Dieter Bohlen wrote the text for the Number 1 hit You broke my heart wrote. Guest Posts
Only the two German singers Julian Williams and Ado Kojo can be heard on the solo CD, singing the refrains of the songs Guten Morgen and Schöner Tag . In addition, the German rapper Trooper Da Don is represented on the Trooper Skit .
The 12 or 13 songs on the feature CD contain a number of guest contributions from various national and international rappers. Dani Fromm from the website laut.de rated Eksodus with four out of a possible five points. She describes the album as “an all-round work that not only suggests Ekrem Bora's incredible talent, but finally makes it shine.” It is a “timeless album that has completely freed itself from the tyranny of constantly changing trends . ”The production was also a success, as“ Phat Crispy always pulls the right beat out of his hat ”. Eko Fresh could only have done without a few guests on the feature CD.
