Dani Fromm from laut.de rated What costs the world? with only one of a possible five points. She describes the content of the album as "boring, exhausted and predictable, in some moments simply disgusting". The productions by Phat Crispy are "bland beats with worn out effects from the common electronic home organ". "Only" The Ghostwriter "and the German Dream works meeting" Resistance "turned out to be reasonably passable" and consoled them "over the wasteland".
