Ivan Alexandrowitsch Sawizki ( Russian Иван Александрович Савицкий ; born March 6, 1992 in Grozny ) is a Russian cyclist .

Career

Ivan Sawizki was world champion and European champion in the junior team pursuit in 2009. In 2012 he went to RusVelo and mainly rode in its track bike team . In the same year, the European title in the team pursuit of the U23 class was added. He also won bronze in Madison at the event. In 2013 he won the track cycling world cup in Aguascalientes, Mexico in the team pursuit. At the Russian track cycling championships, Savitsky became national champion in Madison and in the team pursuit.

In 2014 he moved to Russian Helicopters . He was also the Russian champion in the U23 road bike race. In the middle of 2015, Sawizki drove again for RusVelo , but this time for the road team. Right away he won the overall victory plus three stage wins at the Tour of Serbia . He celebrated another success in the Chinese stage race Tour of Qinghai Lake , a bicycle race in the Hors category . In 2016 he competed in the Giro d'Italia , his first Grand Tour . He finished it as 104. In the 2017 Tour of Slovakia , he won a stage.
