Wiktor Wiktorowitsch Manakow ( Russian Виктор Викторович Манаков , English Viktor Manakov ; born June 9, 1992 in Saint Petersburg ) is a Russian cyclist .

Athletic career

In 2009 Viktor Manakov was both European and world champion in the junior team pursuit , together with Konstantin Kuperasow , Ivan Savitsky and Matwei Subow . In winning the World Cup, the Russian four-man set a new junior world record with 4: 04.448 minutes . In 2010 he became European Champion (U23) in the single pursuit and in 2012 again European Champion (U23) in the Omnium and in the team pursuit, with Sawizki, Subow and Nikita Schurschin .

In 2013 Manakow became the European elite champion in the omnium . He also won two national titles, in the Omnium and in two-man team driving (with Iwan Sawizki). At the UCI Track World Championships in Cali in 2014 , he finished third in the Omnium.

Wiktor Manakow is the son of two former racing cyclists Jolanta Polikevičiūtė and Wiktor Manakow .
