In autumn 2011 Rohwer's conversation-based biography Veruschka (about the well-known German artist Vera Gräfin von Lehndorff ) was published by DuMont . The book was able to place itself in the relevant bestseller lists. This edition was presented for the first time at the Leipzig Book Fair. As early as May 2014, the book made it onto the Süddeutsche Zeitung 's best non-fiction book . In September 2015 Rohwer was awarded the German Biography Prize. From late 2016 to 2019, the author worked on biographical essays and conversations about the life and work of Steven D.
