The Jewish cemetery in Großen-Linden , a district of Linden in the district of Gießen in Hesse , was laid out in 1637. The Jewish cemetery in Luhweg is a protected cultural monument .

The cemetery was originally the burial place for up to 22 Jewish communities : Garbenteich , Gießen (until the 19th century), Heuchelheim , Kirchgöns , Krofdorf , Langgöns , Pohl-Göns , Steinbach , Steinberg , Watzenborn and other places.

The oldest legible gravestones date from 1712. The cemetery property consisted of three parts of different ages. In 1938, as part of the land consolidation, a path was laid through the cemetery grounds, so that the cemetery was divided into two parts. Today around 90 tombstones are still preserved.
